You spot him through the trees and houses on the outskirts of the village. About 12 feet tall he stands swinging a huge wooden club and yelling at his goblin and Orc henchmen.

These adventurers are seasoned warriors, each with their own unique skills and abilities, who are always looking for their next challenge.
The leading villager approaches the adventurers, tears streaming down his face as he describes the atrocities that have been inflicted upon his people. He pleads with them to help put an end to the raids, promising them a generous reward for their services.
As he speaks, the adventurers can see the determination and hope in his eyes, and they can hear the screams of the villagers still fresh in their minds. They know that they must help put an end to this reign of terror.
The leader of the adventurers, a powerful paladin, steps forward and declares, "We will help you. We will put an end to this ogre and his minions."
The leading villager is overjoyed and grateful, thanking the adventurers for their help. He provides them with a map to the village, as well as any information they may need to successfully complete their mission. The adventurers gather their weapons and gear, and set out to bring an end to the raids and bring peace back to the land.
