Welcome to Creatures & Chronicles, an immersive fantasy role-playing game crafted with care by solo developer Peter Munkholm. My goal is to create an epic adventure RPG that provides players with endless hours of entertainment through rich storytelling, strategic turn-based combat, and expansive worldbuilding.
As a passionate gamer and father of two, I understand the joy and sense of escapism that well-designed games can provide. My oldest son is on the autism spectrum, and I hope to one day turn this project into a full-time career that supports my family. Currently, I devote myself completely to this project, working tirelessly from morning to night to bring this sprawling fantasy world to life.
Creatures & Chronicles draws inspiration from classic tabletop RPGs with a modern twist. Choose from a wide selection of races and classes, customize your character, and set off on perilous quests in a high fantasy realm filled with magic, mystery, and danger around every corner. Along the way you’ll team up with unforgettable companions, make difficult moral choices, and unearth ancient secrets as you gain power and influence.
The game features deep character progression across a hand-crafted open world, turn-based tactical combat, elaborate magic systems, recruitable NPC followers, expansive lore and histories, and endless side quests. Players can create their own epic adventures with captivating storytelling and publish them on the adventures portal.
While Creatures & Chronicles is currently my solo passion project, I aim to steadily expand it over time with additional content, features, platforms, and potentially a small team. Please consider becoming a basic subscriber or supporting the game's Kofi page to help this dream become a reality!

History
This project was started as a spare time project in June 2022. Then it was shelved in mid-July due to browser performance issues in the encounter map. However, the browser performance issues were solved sometime in autumn 2022 and the project was picked up again in mid-December 2022. We will celebrate the first 12 months of development on the 12th of November 2023.
I'm the father of two wonderful boys and my oldest son has ADHD and autism in the form of Aspergers Syndrome.
The project launched on IndieGoGo on the 16th of December 2022 without much success and will soon be launching on Kickstarter to see if more traction can be gained on a more popular crowdfunding platform.
